Xiaomi has successfully diversified its offerings in Bangladesh from smartphones to smartwatches, TVs, and much more. No wonder then, that the release of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 sparked a lot of excitement amongst customers and Mi fans. Soon after its China release earlier this year, Xiaomi released the successor to the Mi Band 4 worldwide.

Price 

The global version of the Mi Band 5 was launched in Bangladesh at a price starting at 4500 BDT. The standard, non-NFC version is available to us for around 3000 BDT. It has seven different strap colors-Blue, Black, Pink, Purple, Orange, Yellow, and Green.

The new Mi smartwatch has a large 1.1-inch color AMOLED display with more than hundred new animated watch faces. The predecessor, Mi Band 4, had a small 0.95-inch display. You can check notifications, texts, control music, and view weather updates that directly reach your Mi Band 5 from your smartphone. including Find My Phone, mute phone, Do Not Disturb, unlocking, incoming call alerts, calendar reminders, event reminders, message alerts, and idle alerts.

Now, on to the crucial part of the new Mi Band 5. It comes with 11 stunning sports modes, which include yoga, elliptical, jump rope, running, cycling, swimming, treadmill, power walking, freestyle, and rowing machine. With a design suited for both indoor and outdoor activities, Mi promises to ‘reignite your weight loss’ with this watch. 


Health Features

Health is the most crucial concern for all of us at this point. It has a special tracker for women’s health, which keeps a check on their menstrual cycles and ovulation phases. It also has a stress monitor, which even gives tips for recovering from stress. This model has upgraded sleep analysis technology with a claimed accuracy of 40%, sleeping pattern interpretation, advice for insomnia, records of REM and naps.
